11th July 08 - The 3G iphone has been released today and the launch is a disaster
You can now buy the 3G iphone at your local o2 or carphone warehouse store but be prepared to stand in the queue.
We were at the launch and were very dissapointed due to the fact that they opened the store at 9am due to technical difficulties and even more dissapointing the Dunstable, o2 and carphone warehouse had limited number of iphones. Carphone warehouse in dunstable had no more than five 3G iphones. Whilst the o2 store had about 50 iphones. Serving one customer took 30mins.
Customers were getting frustrated and seven of the frustrated left the queue leaving without the most awaited 3g iphone.
Was it worth the wait? hmm.....
